ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material, which comprises a compound represented by formula (I) in a photosensitive layer or a non-photosensitive layer and a yellow dye-forming coupler represented by formula (II), (III), or (IV) in a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, a silyl group, an acyl group, a sulfonyl group, or an R.sub.o group; R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, and R.sub.6 each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a substituted amino group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an R.sub.p group, an R.sub.q group, an R.sub.r group, an R.sub.s group, an R.sub.t group, or an R.sub.u group; R.sub.1a, R.sub.1b, and R.sub.1c have the same meaning as that of R.sub.1 ; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, or R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 may bond together to form a 5- or 6-membered ring or a spiro ring; and v and w each represent 0 or 1, provided that at least one of v and w is 0, ##STR2## wherein the substituents of formulae (II), (III) & IV are as defined in the specification.
