ABSTRACT:
A silver catalyst for ethylene oxidation to ethylene oxide is prepared by impregnating an inert support with a silver/amine solution and calcining the impregnated support at 300.degree.-5000.degree. C., the catalyst being maintained under an inert atmosphere at temperatures of 250.degree. C. or higher, preferably at 100.degree. C. or higher.
