ABSTRACT:
A silicon rubber composition containing a hydrocarbon extender oil, wherein the oil is a Fischer-Tropsch derived oil. A process to prepare a silicon rubber extender oil having a CN number as measured according to IEC 590 of between 15 and 30%, a kinematic viscosity at 40° C. of between 5 an 18 mm2/sec.
