Silanized antimicrobial compounds are disclosed which are the reaction products of chlorinated phenols, bis-phenols, dihydric phenols, hydroxy diphenyl ethers and ortho or para hydroxybenzoic acids and their lower alkyl esters with an amino substituted silane having the general formula
