ABSTRACT:
A side gate type injection molding die prevents a weld line from being generated on a molded component made of a resin material to which a brightening agent is added, avoiding inferior appearance. The side gate type injection molding die including a product portion7, which is a space for molding, and a side gate8, which is used to inject the material into the product portion7, in which the side gate8is formed so as to have a rectangular transverse cross section in a contact part9between the product portion7and the side gate8, is configured so that at least one of corner parts9eof the transverse cross section formed into a rectangular shape in the contact part9of the side gate8is formed in a curved shape; and the resin material to which the brightening agent is added is injected into the product portion7from the side gate8to manufacture a molded component1.
