ABSTRACT:
It is intended to provide a sheet stack ejecting apparatus, an image forming apparatus and a sheet stack processing apparatus applicable to ejection of a sheet stack while ejection errors are prevented by reducing disorderliness of ejected sheets of paper. A sheet ejecting apparatus10carries and ejects a sheet stack by holding the sheet stack with an ejecting roller pair10that consists of a top roller21and a bottom roller22. The sheet ejecting apparatus 10 further includes a motor24for shifting the top roller21to switch between pressing state and separated state with respect to the ejecting roller pair15and a controller20for controlling the motor24. The controller20works as ejection means that makes the ejecting roller pair15pressing state so as to eject a sheet stack and as separation means that makes the ejecting roller pair15separated state before a back end of a sheet stack escapes from nips of the ejecting roller pair15by using the motor24.
