ABSTRACT:
Apparatus for sorting sheets from a stack. A take-out device is provided for drawing sheets from the stack one at a time. These sheets are transferred to an inspecting station which classifies the sheets and sorts them into reusable sheets and unreusable sheets. The reusable sheets are bundled. The unreusable sheets are first collected until the entire stack of sheets has been processed. Only then are the collected unreusable sheets automatically invalidated.
