ABSTRACT:
A shaped polymeric article comprising from 1% to 60% by weight, preferably from 5% to 30% by weight of a cross-linked polymeric material having a glass-rubber transition temperature of not more than 25.degree.C and from 99% to 40% by weight, preferably from 95% to 70% by weight, of a vinyl polymer, in which the cross-linked polymeric material is formed from precursors therefor comprising at least one polymer, having a glass-rubber transition temperature of not more than 25.degree.C, at least 80% by weight of said polymer having a molecular weight of at least 3000, and preferably consisting of at least one polymer having a glass-rubber transition temperature of not more than 25.degree.C and a molecular weight of at least 3000, and at least on cross-linking agent reactive with said polymer.
