ABSTRACT:
Cyclopentadiene is separated from dicyclopentadiene by means of a sorbent material which contains (i) alkali metal oxide(s) and/or hydroxide(s) and (ii) an inorganic support material. The more preferred sorbent material is Na.sub.2 O and/or NaOH on alumina.
