A housing200for securing a photo sensor405where the housing includes a lower body211configured to selectively engage a base203at one of a multiplicity of angular rotations relative to the base and an upper body209configured to hold the photo sensor. In various embodiments, a locking member205is disposed, e.g., within a slot417in the lower body, and configured to secure the housing to the base in the one of the multiplicity of angular rotations. A corresponding method of providing and aligning a sensor housing is described.
