ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a semiconductive rubber foam having a volume resistivity that can be controlled to a practical level and retaining an initial softness (hardness) even after the lapse of time. This semiconductor rubber foam is composed of a molded article obtained by curing and foaming a rubber composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a chlorinated ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber and (B) 10 to 50 parts by weight of carbon black. The volume resistivity of this semiconductive rubber foam has is in the range of from 10.sup.5 to 10.sup.11 .OMEGA.-cm.
