ABSTRACT:
Refractory fiber blankets are made suitable for use as baffles, curtains or partitions in furnaces and other high temperature equipment by reinforcement fabric woven from high temperature refractory fiber yarn. The curtains so formed are easily installed and replaced. The curtains exhibit insulation characteristics suitable for use at elevated (2200.degree. F. and above) temperatures and capabilities of resisting damage from impact by the furnace load or manipulators of such a load.
