ABSTRACT:
A self-extinguishing resin composition comprises 55 - 25 wt. % of a thermoplastic resin and 45 - 75 wt. % of magnesium hydroxide, wherein said magnesium hydroxide has a specific surface area of less than or equal to 45 m.sup.2 /g. Such a composition is not subject to formation of a silver-colored streak upon being extrusion- or injection-molded.
