ABSTRACT:

The assembly includes a self-erecting and collapsible canopy, a self-erecting and collapsible canopy shade pivotally mountable to the erected canopy, at least two ground stakes, anchor lines and a storage bag for conveniently carrying the components of the assembly. The erected shade assembly may be secured directly to the ground or affixed to an outdoor chair or seat having a backrest.
