ABSTRACT:
A standing wave self-compensating laser resonator for preventing the utilization efficiency of a laser beam from being lowered, while at the same time, improving the quality of the laser beam wherein, a first reflecting apparatus21having first and second reflecting surfaces21a, 21bdisposed at a right angle to each other and a second reflecting apparatus22having third and fourth reflecting surfaces22a, 22bdisposed at a right angle to each other face each other such that ridges21c, 22care orthogonal, a third reflecting apparatus123having two reflecting surfaces which are approximately parallel to and face from each other is provided between the second reflecting surface21band fourth reflecting surface22b, a laser medium23is provided between the first reflecting surface21aand third reflecting surface22a, and the laser beam is not incident on the ridges21c, 22c.
