ABSTRACT:
Trans-isomers of perhydroacenaphthene are selectively prepared through hydrogenation of acenaphthene by effecting hydrogenation at 200.degree. to 300.degree. C. in the presence of a nickel catalyst on a kieselguhr carrier.
