ABSTRACT:
The compound represented by the formula; ##STR1## [wherein R.sup.1 stands for hydrogen, methoxy or trifluoromethyl; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, being the same or different from each other, stand for hydrogen or methyl; R.sup.4 stands for optionally substituted hydrocarbon residue; and n denotes 0 or 1] or a salt thereof show excellent antibacterial activities, against the genus Campylobacter, especially against Campylobacter pylori, and they are used for preventing or treating infectious diseases caused by the said bacteria.
