ABSTRACT:
A security operating device which mechanically connects a standard door knob to an added security device which may be used to prevent intrusion against that door. The security operating device converts the rotational motion of the door knob to lifting, pulling, or pushing motions which engage or disengage the additional security device. The internal lock in the door knob lock set is thereby also used to lock the added security device.
