ABSTRACT:
A lock for a revolving door includes an electrically-controlled, solenoid-extensible trip rod engageable by a panel of the door. Movement of the rod by the door panel rotates a key from a lock holder to release a spring-biased locking element which is forced onto the door panel to prevent further rotation of the door.
