ABSTRACT:
A device for securing a manipulated component to the fitting portion of a panel so that the shaft of the component extends through the panel. The component includes a boss, a flange, and an engagement portion and that the fitting portion is provided with a through hole and a securing apparatus. The boss projects to the fitting portion, and covers the shaft at the rear end thereof. The flange is formed at the front end of the shaft. The engagement portion is provided on a surface at the fitting portion and located in a position different from that of the boss. The flange is inserted through the hole so that the attaching position of the axis of the engagement portion is different from the manipulating position of the axis of the shaft. The securing apparatus secures the component to the fitting portion when the component is moved to such a position as to put the axis of the shaft in the manipulating position after the component is turned about the axis of the engagement portion in the attaching position as the flange remains inserted through the through hole.
