ABSTRACT:
A cutting blade for use in cutting tools such as a carpet trimming device of hand knives is disclosed of the trapezoidal contour where the major base portion is the cutting edge and the blade is provided with a row of preferably three openings for a clamping screw. A series of scorelines perpendicular to the cutting edge and disposed centrally between the respective clamping openings enables the blade to be used both as a regular blade and broken into even or uneven blades to allow for selective adjustment of the cutting depth.
