ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a sealed one-piece battery having an alkaline electrolyte and comprising a container made of at least two mutually-cooperating parts suitable for being bonded together by contact heat-fusion and made of a thermoplastic material comprising an alloy of at least two polymers, including not less than 50% of a first polymer selected from polyamide 6 and polyamide 6--6; and not more than 50% of a second polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, and copolymers thereof; said material having permeability to hydrogen no greater than 400 cm.sup.3 /m.sup.2 0.24 h.
