ABSTRACT:
Methods and apparatus for providing a relatively miniature injection molded scan motor, for example, for a retroreflective illumination system. An exemplary scan motor comprises a spring module that includes a static substrate and a dynamic substrate coupled together by an injection molded flexible spring. In an embodiment, the spring can be liquid injection molded. The scan motor also comprises a magnet and a reflective element that extends beyond the static substrate and/or the dynamic substrate.
