The sealing assembly includes a seal retainer having static and rotary sealing elements, the seal retainer being held in place by compression forces exerted by a pivotable seal compression element. The seal compression element is pivotable at one end to release pressure on the seal retainer to allow removal of the retainer for cleaning of the seal assembly.
