ABSTRACT:
A sandwich material is characterized in that it comprises at least three layers, viz a first layer (12), constituting a wear layer, consisting of a polymeric substance with a hardness of between 85.degree. and 100.degree. Shore A, a second layer (9) consisting of rubber with a hardness of between 50.degree. and 70.degree. Shore A, but softer than said first layer, and a third layer (10) consisting of rubber with a hardness of between 20.degree. and 50.degree. Shore A, but softer than said second layer, said second layer being located between said first and third layers.
