ABSTRACT:
A sanding wheel assembly is provided which allows the operator to quickly change and replace worn sanding belts. The device includes a pinion joined to a rachet wheel which controls a series of tensioning levers. A manual latch secures a rachet wheel. As the pinion is rotated, the levers move inwardly or outwardly to change the tension on the sanding belt against a sanding ring for belt tightening or removal purposes.
