ABSTRACT:
Sample grating distributed Bragg reflector laser, very widely matchable by phase variation, and a process for using this laser.
This laser comprises an active section (32) and two sample grating sections (34, 36) placed on each side of the active section, respectively, each sample grating section comprising phase parts (48, 52) alternating with grating parts (50, 54), and means (62, 64, 70, 72) of injecting current into the phase parts and into grating parts independently for each sample grating section.
Application to telecommunications by optical fibres.
