ABSTRACT:
A safety pneumatic tire which can improve running distance under punctured condition comprising an annular resilient reinforcing body having a maximum thickness corresponding to 4 to 9% of the tire maximum width and a JIS hardness of at least 60.degree. in which a ratio of the tire maximum width TW to the rim width RW is 1.0.ltoreq.TW/RW.ltoreq.1.3.
