ABSTRACT:
There is provided a safety indwelling needle comprising an inner needle unit1having an inner needle11, an inner needle hub13provided on a proximal end of the inner needle11and a needle protecting member disposed at a distal side of the inner needle hub13, and an outer needle unit2having an outer needle21, characterized in that the needle protecting member includes an extendable housing unit31and the housing unit31can partly store the inner needle11therein in a state where the housing unit31is extended.
