ABSTRACT:
Composite laminates are disclosed which are designed to exhibit superior resistance to oil and to heat and which are comprised essentially of a rubbery layer and a fibrous layer bonded thereover. The rubber layer is formed from a rubber composition made up of highly hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, an organic peroxide curing agent and magnesium oxide, and the fibrous layer is formed from an organic fiber treated with a dip coating of a specified composition. Also disclosed is a composite hose in which the rubbery layer is utilized as an inner tube and the fibrous layer as a reinforcement.
