ABSTRACT:
A dibenzylthiuram sulphid such as tetrabenzylthiuram disulphide is combined with a dihydrocarbyl xanthogen polysulphide and/or a xanthate to provide a composition which has good properties as an accelerator in rubber vulcanisation, without providing harmful nitrosatables.
