A rotor1can prevent from cracking a magnet when molding the rotor and a molding die for the rotor can prevent from reducing yield of rotors. The rotor1formed into disk shape includes a rotor body12and an annular shape magnet13. The rotor body12has inner and outer cover portions18, 19for covering respectively inner and outer surfaces13a, 13bof the magnet13, and first and second end cover portions20, 21for covering respectively one end face13cand the other end face13dof the magnet13. The rotor1is formed by injection molding with the molding die, whose a cavity receives the magnet13.
