ABSTRACT:
A rotationally indexing valve capable of directing refrigerant flow to various zones of a heat exchanger is disclosed. A piston is mounted for reciprocal movement within the valve casing. Means are provided for rotating the piston between selected positions as the piston reciprocates, each position connecting a valve port to a liquid chamber for directing flow therethrough.
