ABSTRACT:
A rotation stabilizing device in a microgravitational rotating apparatus has vibration suppressed and rotation stabilized. Recess portions10a, 10bare provided on a casing10so that bearings14, 15are arranged therein for supporting a rotary shaft30. Experimental boxes17ato17hfixed to arms16ato16hrotate together with the rotary shaft30. A fin33is fixed to outer circumferential surfaces of the experimental boxes17ato17hprojecting outwardly therefrom. Pairs of electromagnetic coils31a, 31b, in which the fin33is interposed with a predetermined gap maintained therebetween, and gap sensors32close thereto, are fitted on the casing10side. Displacement of the fin33is detected by the gap sensors32to be inputted into a control unit to thereby control excitation current of the electromagnetic coils31a, 31b. The gap is brought into a position within a demand value and rotation is stabilized.
