ABSTRACT:
A sheet feeder has a sheet tray10disposed in such a way as to be able to rotate around a shaft12,which is provided in such a manner as to be nearly perpendicular to a sheet mounting surface4b,and enabled to be accommodated in a sheet feeder body. The sheet feeder also has a step-like part10aprovided in the sheet tray10in such a fashion as to be placed in a connection portion, in which the sheet tray10and an upper edge part4of a sheet mounting portion4of the sheet feeder body are connected to each other, when the sheet tray10is used, and an abutting rib13for frontwardly pushing the sheet tray10when the sheet tray10is used.
