ABSTRACT:
A rotary leadthrough for feeding pressurizing medium to a rotatably mounted part includes a stator and a rotor rotatable relative thereto, the stator and the rotor being formed with at least one channel, respectively, sealing elements and sealing counter-elements respectively carried by one and the other of the stator and the rotor for cooperatively sealing the stator and the rotor therebetween and for coupling the respective channels formed in the stator and the rotor into at least one medium connection path through which pressurizing medium is feedable, the stator having a longitudinal axis, and the rotor having a rotational axis coinciding with the longitudinal axis of the stator, and a device for axially displacing the stator and the rotor relative to one another from a first position thereof wherein the sealing elements are in sealing engagement with the sealing counter-elements, to a second position thereof wherein the sealing elements and the sealing counter-elements are spaced from one another.
