ABSTRACT:
A continuous torque rotary engine comprising a drive shaft having a rotor secured thereto. The rotor carries a plurality of radial sliding blades and is surrounded by an outer stationary cylinder between which a plurality of pressure chambers are formed by means of chamber separators. Rotatable hump plates transfer the blades into and out of the pressure chambers to clear the chamber separators during rotor rotation. Identical end covers having an annular chamber close the stationary cylinder and connect pressure and exhaust ports in each of the pressure chambers to a pressurized fluid supply and an exhaust outlet, respectively.
