ABSTRACT:
A transport installation comprising a continuous running rope supporting vehicles arranged at intervals along the rope with a preset running rate, comprises:a vehicle grouping section, arranged between a slowing-down section and an intermediate section, equipped with means for forming groups of a preset number of vehicles,a vehicle separating section, arranged between the intermediate section and a speeding-up section, to collectively stock each group coming from the intermediate section.The invention also relates to a method for controlling such an installation.
