A roof lining extremity fixing structure for fixing an end portion of a roof lining28provided on a passenger compartment side of a sunroof unit16to an opening-side edge portion25of a stationary part17of the sunroof unit16via a fixing member30, the roof lining extremity fixing structure being characterized in that an engagement portion33which is brought into resilient engagement with the opening-side edge portion25of the stationary part17and an extended portion34which is disposed at an interval on a side to which the engagement portion33resiliently deforms at the time of engagement are formed on the fixing member30, so that an extremity portion51of a skin47of the roof lining28is fixedly held by the engagement portion33and the extended portion34.
