ABSTRACT:
A device for reeling web-like material, in which the roll being formed is held between heads borne on carrier arms, which device reels the roll with a central drive. The drive is provided by direct-current, permanent magnet electric motors maximum power output mounted in the carrier arms, in which motors the stator, is faced with permanent magnets made of samarium cobaltate (SmCo.sub.5).
