A roll formed of a carbon fiber composite material having at least two different carbon fiber-winding angles, wherein the winding angle in the innermost layer is "75.degree. to 90.degree. to the axial direction and the winding angle in the outermost layer is 0.degree. to .+-.35.degree. to the axial direction.
