The tool is generally E-shaped, its body portion having a laterally projecting open-end wrench element at its lower end; a laterally projecting gripper plate at its upper end by which the tool is engaged and manipulated by the extension handle; and a laterally projecting stabilizer element therebetween which braces the tool against the upper end of the riser tee while the compression nut is being turned.
