ABSTRACT:
A ring binder to be fixed to an article includes a support for mounting a plurality of ring members thereon, and a control member movable to act on a sloping part of the upper surface of the support to cause the support to pivot and thereby close the ring members and movable along a sloped portion of the under surface of the support to cause the support to pivot and thereby open the ring members. The control member includes a cross bar member which acts on the sloped portion of the under surface of the support. In another embodiment, the support has a plurality of substantially longitudinal rib members on its upper surface.
