ABSTRACT:
Thermoformable rigid foams are made by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol component. The polyol component includes at least one organic polyhydroxyl compound having a hydroxyl number of from 28 to 1200, a foaming agent, a catalyst and a compound which masks isocyanate groups. Preferred isocyanate masking compounds are .epsilon.-caprolactam and nonyl phenol. The foam thus obtained may then be molded and crosslinked by heating it to a temperature of from 150.degree. to 190.degree. C. These foams are particularly useful as interior trim for motor vehicles.
