ABSTRACT:

The shank terminates in a bifurcated rowel support member that is secured to the shank by a pin. A rowel is rotatably mounted in the bifurcated portion and the rowel and bifurcated support are rotatably mounted on the pin extending into the shank of the spur. The rowel thus rotates about a first axis while the rowel support rotates about an axis perpendicular to the rowel axis.
