ABSTRACT:
The invention proposes a packaging signal (psi) region of at most 400 nucleotides, capable of promoting encapsidation of a retroviral vector, which is substantially homologous to the 5' end of a murine viral-like cellular sequence of type VL30, as well as a retroviral vector comprising said psi region.
