ABSTRACT:
A structure of retention mechanism for cassette CPU module comprises a base, a retention groove, a movable piece, fixing plugs, insert pins, etc. The retention mechanism including a wall-suspended and a lever type may be applied to retain a cassette CPU module of either a snap or a cartridge type, and moreover, a flexible action portion and a snap fastening portion are disposed at end wall of the retention groove. When the retention mechanism at opposite ends are installed with a movable piece respectively, the coupled construction will provide a convenient and easy operation for mounting or dismounting a cassette CPU module by merely pushing the movable pieces up or down to fasten or unfasten.
