ABSTRACT:
In a battery mount structure wherein a battery carrier5with a battery3housed interiorly is arranged below a passenger step19to a vehicle, a battery cover8is adapted to be movable toward and away from the vehicle in the widthwise direction of the vehicle. In the battery cover8, a top face member8aof the battery cover8has an end adjacent to a chassis frame1which is adapted to be engaged with locked portions6aand6bon a back plate4cof a battery carrier body4. An end of the battery cover8away from the chassis frame1is provided with a front wall8bhaving a locking portion10, the locking portion10being adapted to be engaged with a locked portion4d′ of the battery bracket4d.
