ABSTRACT:
A retaining arrangement for joining together two components such as a rim coverplate10and a rotor disc12in a gas turbine engine. The arrangement comprising a channel54formed by respective formations26, 52on the disc12and coverplate10, which channel54locates one or more annular ring member66which prevents relative axial movement therebetween. Engageable abutment formations18, 46are provided respectively on the disc12and coverplate10, to prevent relative pivotal movement.
