ABSTRACT:
A retainer for fixing terminals of springs7to a round shaft3of a seat frame for a seat is disclosed. Each of the terminals of the springs is formed into a substantially U-shape. The retainer includes a body6aof a substantially U-shape in cross-section which is adapted to be mounted on the round shaft3, and pairs of first and second spring-engaging pieces6b, 6cbent laterally from both edges of the U-shaped body6a. The retainer is adapted to fix the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springs7to the round shaft3with the first and second spring-engaging pieces6b, 6cthereof being engaged with the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springs7.
